Localizing text regions in images taken from natural SCENEs is one of the challenging problems due to variations in font, size, COLOR and orientation of text. In this paper, we introduce a new concept so called Edge COLOR Signature for localizing text regions in an image. This method is able to localize both Farsi and English texts. In the proposed method first a pyramid using different scales of the input image is created. Then for each level of the pyramid an edge map is extracted. Afterward, several geometric features are employed to filter out the non-text edges from the extracted edges. At this stage we describe an edge using COLORs of its neighboring pixels. We use the mean-Shift algorithm to obtain the COLOR modes surrounding each edge pixel. Subsequently, the connected edge pixels with similar COLOR signatures are clustered using Single-Linkage clustering algorithm to construct meaningful groups. Finally, each of the clusters is labeled as text or non-text using an MLP based cascade classifier. The proposed method has been evaluated on well-known ICDAR 2013 and our Farsi dataset, the result is very promising.

In digital COLOR imaging, it is of interest to transform the COLOR SCENE of an image to the other. Some attempts have been done in this case using, for example, lab COLOR space, principal component analysis and recently histogram rescaling method. In this research, a novel method is proposed based on the Resenfeld and Kak histogram matching algorithm. It is suggested that to transform the COLOR SCENE between two images, the histograms of the three R, G and B channels of the input image would be matched to the corresponding histograms of the destination one. The performance of the introduced method was investigated for several images. The obtained results indicated that this method is well capable of transforming the COLOR SCENE between images.

COLORs can carry a variety of explicit or implicit messages and can affect personal and group feelings, communication, thinking, and behavior. Iran, with its ancient antiquity in its traditional or modern context, has used the aspects and characteristics of COLOR in all its biological fields and cultural, artistic and religious assets. COLORs have always had an overt or covert identity that has been used in accordance with Iranian beliefs. In the Qur'an, hadiths and narrations, the physiological effective properties of COLORs have even been mentioned many times. Media literacy and audience awareness, especially in recent years, have led filmmakers and producers of the art of animation media to visual cinema, and COLOR plays an important role as an important element. The art of animation in Iran has a long history, influenced by such an approach, and has been trying for years to take advantage of the properties of COLORs in the crystallization and prevalence of national religion and culture. The present study aims to examine and analyze the status and position of this national belief about the symbolic role of COLOR with an applied objective. The main problem of the present study is to investigate how COLORs are used in creating the SCENE atmosphere of Iranian religious animations based on the ancient Iranian Islamic culture. Qualitative research method with an analytical-descriptive approach has been used based on collecting information from library sources and audio-visual archives. Hence, the film "Prince of Rome" will be considered as a purposeful selection.

Dear Editor, In a visit to the Forensic Medicine Department of Ankara University, Turkey, some years ago, the authors of the letter noticed that the phrase "Olay Yeri Incelemesi" means "Event SCENE Investigation" rather than "Crime SCENE Investigation" is used in the country [1]. When we asked for the cause, the answer was convincing: "While investigating the SCENE, it is frequently observed that there was only one event or incident and no crime at all. So there is no need to endanger the mental health of citizens and society by misrepresenting like Westerners". As faculty members forensic medicine specialists, we did extensive searches on the Internet and academic databases (in English, Farsi, and Turkish), but we did not find a similar case in other countries. However, the response of our Turkish neighbors influenced our thinking and inevitably led the authors to write this letter. . .

Nowadays, the use of new lighting technologies has led to considering light COLOR as one of the influential factors in urban space planning and design. Due to the extensive dimensions and the impact of light COLOR on humans and the environment, various considerations must be considered when deciding and choosing light COLORs. In these environments, focusing solely on humans can have detrimental effects on the environment. This article analyses three scenarios for the Ferdous Garden to Tajrish axis, considering environmental preferences for COLOR and expert considerations in choosing light COLORs. The results show that the best definition to obtain the best results for increasing the visual experience and non-visual factors is two different design scenarios for the early and late hours of the night. Finally, proposed steps for COLOR selection based on environmental preferences and considerations are presented.

Computers might be used in crimes. They may also contain some evidences which prove a crime or be used in committing crimes. Therefore, these electronic equipments include valuable evidences for crime detection. In this article it is attempted to realize the importance of dealing with these kind of evidences without any major damage to them and how to answer the law enforcement officers in this regard.

It has been observed for several times that the C.S.I team members have to stay within the crime SCENE for many hours due to its complexity and size. If these members do not comply with safety codes, their health will be completely endangered and many problems arise. The aim of this paper is to remind the C.S. I team members about some kinds of contaminations in the crime SCENE and the methods they can protect themselves against these dangers. It is necessary for all the members to use some required equipment in order to minimize the probability of infection.

Today, criminal cases are investigated by a workgroup of C.S.I experts and criminal investigators by using modern technologies and methods of identifying physical evidences. Therefore, progress management has a key role in investigations. In general, crime SCENE management can be divided to different sections: information management, human resource management, technology management and induction management. Controlling these sections guarantees the success of a criminal case.
